When you think of fall decorations what comes to mind first? Pumpkins, right? We have sooo many cute pumpkins at Cut & Paste, but the problem is, once you’ve got one pumpkin door hanger you don’t need another. What you need is something for INSIDE your house

I’ve been searching far and wide for unique table decorations for this autumn season and I think I’ve found the perfect line for you fall-lovers. My favorite is this set of 3-D wooden letters that spells HOME! The set comes with the letter “O” but you can paint a different replacement for every month. So customizable!

I love it it because it is simple but unique! The letters are solid wood, about an inch and half thick. That means you can use either paint or stain. The ornaments to replace the O are the same thick wood with separate pieces you paint and glue on to add dimension. For example, the apple is actually 3 layers. You paint each layer separately, then glue them together. So easy and the options make this a great decoration, year round. I have the fall and winter options in stock now and we’ll add pieces as the year progresses. Wait till you see the February one. It’s a heart shaped like a lock with a little key to tie on. 

You can paint this project any way you want! The H, M, and E can be any color, although we recommend sticking to just one or two colors to avoid making the entire project look too busy.

We also have a standing turkey from this same line that is just adorable and so easy to make! Since he’s made of separate pieces, it’s easy to paint them each and then glue it all together. He would make a great centerpiece or side table element this Thanksgiving season.

For our sample we used a fall palette the body, but then went a little crazy with his feathers. We painted his feathers all brown and then stenciled over top with red orange and yellow. This pop of color was all we wanted for texture, we kept the rest of him more simple. 

You can paint him any way you want though! Each feather could be a different color, you could add more dimension to his body, or paint him pink, purple and teal! That’s our favorite thing, no two crafts are exactly the same.
